Palbinder Badesha

Franchisee, California

Enhancing the quality of life of others has always been a passion for England native Palbinder Badesha. The first in her family to graduate college, she began her career working for a non-profit agency helping women who suffered from domestic violence. “I think one of our purposes in life is to make a positive impact on others’ lives,” she said.

With an enthusiasm and a passion for helping those in need, Palbinder spent several more years working in different organizations throughout England helping youth with employment and training opportunities and underprivileged neighborhoods with resources to help better their lives.

In 2002, Palbinder moved with her husband to the United States to raise their children. New to the states, Palbinder wasn’t sure what her next career steps would be. With a master’s in Industrial Relations and a passion for employer and employee relationships, she knew she wanted to continue to help people. And, she had always wanted to own her own business.

Unsure of her options, Palbinder went to a franchising network conference to learn more about different business opportunities. “I wanted a stable company that was established and had history behind them.” She also wanted to find a company that shared the same value she had for helping people. After learning about Express, Palbinder saw the possibility of her dreams becoming a reality, and was eager to jump on board. “I just knew this company was for me! It was a perfect fit!”

Palbinder recognized that all her prior skills would work well in the industry. Working with her passion, she knew nothing would hold her back. “There’s nothing like helping someone get their life back together or making an impact on a community, and Express understands that.”

Express offers more than staffing. “The best thing about this business is we’re not selling a product – instead we’re providing hope. Hope to people who need work. Help to businesses to find good workers. To make a living helping people in this way – there’s nothing better than that.”
