Express Franchising

Jody Eschler is the new Express franchisee in Gloversville, NY. He’s embarking on this new career journey as a Team With Express location, an independent staffing agency that converted to an Express franchise.

Prior to Express, Jody spent 20 years of his career working in purchasing and materials management. After experiencing a company downsize and a layoff, Jody decided to turn to the staffing industry. In the mid 90’s, he joined a temporary services agency as an office supervisor. It’s safe to say he was officially bitten by the staffing bug, and he knew that was the career path he wanted to go down from that point forward. So, he opened Bestemp Temporary Services, also known as BTS Staffing.

“I had a desire to start a business for several years and decided it was beyond time for me to put my dream into action and open a staffing office,” Jody said. “The funny thing too is that we opened Bestemp Temporary Services on April Fools Day. If anyone thought that I was trying to pull a prank, I guess I fooled them.” 
 
After 16 years of owning BTS, Jody’s career journey led him to Express where he immersed himself into talking with franchise developers, franchisees, and headquarters employees. He even attended Express’ annual International Leadership Conference in San Diego to learn more about the company and its culture.
 
“All I heard was strong praise for Express,” Jody said. “Through my due diligence in reviewing the company, everything I discovered affirmed that I wanted to be part of the Express family and take my business and my staffing knowledge to the next level.”

With a support team and tools from Express, Jody knows the future for his business looks bright. He knows he can grow his business dream beyond what he ever thought was possible.

“I’m a dreamer who wants to help others,” Jody said. “And now, not only am I achieving my goals, but I’m going to be in a better place to help others achieve theirs too. What more can I say other than I love the staffing industry.”
