Lorraine Alexander

Franchisee, Virginia

Making a difference in other people’s lives is the part of Lorraine Alexander’s job that keeps a smile on her face and motivates her to give her all every day. She’s not a police officer, a teacher, or a doctor. But she helps people all the same. Lorraine helps businesses find word-class-job candidates. She equips job seekers with the tools and training to succeed in their work. And she offers hope to the unemployed through temporary and full-time jobs. That’s what it means to be an Express franchisee, and Lorraine wouldn’t have it any other way.

Just like our motto touts, Lorraine is respecting people and impacting business every day. She continually builds relationships with clients, business owners, and community leaders, and her passion for creating partnerships is also what makes her so successful.

“I make a difference in people’s lives. It’s very powerful to make such a positive impact in my community,” Lorraine said.

Lorraine’s hard work and compassion toward others pays off every day in more than one way. She’s not only giving back to her community, but receiving something in return. “I am rewarded emotionally and financially every time I am able to help a client find the employee they need,” she said.

As a savvy entrepreneur, Lorraine knew she wanted something more from a business than just a profit. She wanted to make a difference, impact her community, and do meaningful work each day. And she found all of that with Express as a franchise owner. “This is my passion, to help people,” Lorraine said. And what better type of business is there to be in?
