“I have been so blessed to live the American dream, and this is a big reason why I’m intrigued to own an Express franchise,” said Fred Heinrich, franchisee of the East El Paso, TX , office. “We’re going to have the opportunity to help change lives and that’s a great feeling.”
Fred and Lori Heinrich knew they wanted to be part of the Express family early on in their entrepreneurial journey. They knew immediately Express was the right business decision for them.
Fred and Lori describe this new business adventure as part of a higher calling for them. They wanted to become part of Express because the company places a strong value on both faith and family.
Fred has been a practicing attorney focusing on civil litigation and employment law, for the last 24 years, while Lori has worked as a teacher for the last 21. Together they are ready to become Express franchisees and make the Express vision their own.
“Our vision is to help as many people as we possibly can,” Fred said. “Being a part of the Express family gives Lori and I the opportunity to help make great things happen in our community.”
“We were very impressed by all the happy, positive, helpful people throughout Express’ international headquarters,” Fred said.
This duo chose to relocate to start their business in El Paso because it would give them a chance to be closer to their family. Lori’s parents live just a short drive away in Las Cruces, NM. An interesting fact about Lori is that her father is Lou Henson, the former head coach for the men’s basketball teams at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and New Mexico State University. He retired with nearly 780 victories.
Growing up with a father as a coach, Lori is no stranger to hard work and dedication.
And speaking of family, Fred is a first-generation American whose parents immigrated to the U.S. from Germany in 1952 to provide a better quality of life for their family.
“Helping people have a better life,” Fred said. “That’s why we’re looking forward to being franchisees.”
